Honeybee Garden
Not our usual recipes, but an important one nonetheless.
- Plant large patches (min. 1m2) of yellow and blue flowering plants, such as sunflowers, marigolds, lavender, herbs, cucumbers, goldenrods, apple trees, and dandelions too!
- Bees need a home. Leave some dead tree branches in your yard.
- Let some leafy plants go to seed. The seeds provide food for winter.
- Have a water feature in your yard, as simple as a bowl of water.
- Do NOT use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or miticides in your garden!! Use Indian neem if you desperately need an insecticide. bark and cloves
